Deterministic Sizing
Everything fits inside "something" sized exactly to hold it — so you can know where it is, not search.
The one thing to take away: the fit is fixed, so knowing where a thing sits beats hunting for it — knowing is faster.
Everything has a spot that fits it. Think of an egg in an egg carton. The little cup is shaped just right — not too big, not too small. The egg has one place it fits.
The world is full of fits like that. A seed fits in its pod. A book fits on its shelf. A tooth fits in its spot in your mouth. Everything sits inside a "something" that's the right size to hold it.
The size isn't random
Here's the important part. The size of that spot isn't random. It's set. A thing of a certain size can only fit the spot made for that size.
